“Thank you to everyone who came out for Indigenous Rising’s (Native Club from The New School) first student mixer Tuesday, December 5th at Relative Arts! We had the pleasure of sharing space with undergraduate and graduate students from The New School, Columbia University, New York University, School of Visual Arts as well as others. Building community and kinship through games, icebreakers, and conversation felt so special.
I felt grateful and inspired to have the opportunity to create an inclusive space of Indigenous Voices in New York City.
