Ray scored his 1,000th-career point in the 3rd quarter with a free throw in a win against Chautauqua Lake 72-53 on Monday night 12/11. He needed 21 points to accomplish his 1,000 points. He scored 30 points, 16 rebounds, 6 steals, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Ray became the 8th male in Silver Creek history to exceed 1,000 points. He shares this accomplishment with his Uncle’s Billy Brooks and Zed Williams and his Aunt Jordan Brooks.
On Wednesday night in a win against Little Valley, 69-41 Ray scored another 30 points, had (4) 3 pointers, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks.
His family is so very proud of Ray and his accomplishments. This is his last year at SCCS as he is a senior and we look forward to seeing him excel another year.
