It is with the heaviest and saddest hearts that we make a post like this. A very important Seneca Girls Family member has been called back to our Creator. Many, MANY, girls have had the honor to have Devonne “NONO” Gardner as their COACH. You’re even more fortunate if you got to share the playing field with her. She played some stellar defense. We have to mention that she was on the very first Women’s Iroquois Nationals Team (circa 1986).
Nono definitely held a lot of love for Lacrosse! She shared her love for the game by dedicating a lot of her time, energy, & MUCH MORE to many lacrosse teams. She is definitely someone who shares a lot of memories with a lot of different people.
She had even more love for her family & friends!
Nono…. such a beautiful and intelligent person!!
She will be missed so much! There’s so much to say about someone so amazing. Rest in the sweetest peace, Coach Nono.
