Regarding this amazing opportunity, Hayden shared: “I’m extremely thankful to the First American Art Magazine for including the photo essay of my recent photography project, “Spirit of the Corn”, 2023.

Model: Morgan Huff, (Seneca)

Beadwork, moccasins, & skirt with white corn kernels made by Karlene Familo, (Seneca). Materials used for outfit: Size 8 & 10 glass beads, white corn, black satin, annuity cloth & bias tape.

Black Skirt made by Lexi Stevens (Seneca). Actual color of the ribbon on the skirt is white and cream. Skirt adult size: 2-6.
