The Buffalo Bandits outlasted the Rochester Knighthawks at KeyBank Center on Saturday, February 3rd to defeat the Knighthawks by a score of 15-14. Saturday’s game also brought families together for Youth Lacrosse Night as they recognized the schools who won the 2023 Section 6 and Monsignor Martin championships! “Congrats to everyone and good luck this season! ~@banditsyouthlax“
Honoring WNY Lacrosse Champions
Annually, the Buffalo Bandits recognize the boys and girls championship teams from Section 6 and Monsignor Martin field lacrosse as well as the box lacrosse champions from the North American Minor Lacrosse Association. Athletes from each team are recognized on field at a Bandits home game.
Congratulations to the Lake Shore BOYS & GIRLS Lacrosse teams for capturing the Section VI, Class C Lacrosse titles for 2023. Pictured below is Ava Tallchief and Eli Himelein.
Reminder: Native American Heritage Night
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 24th. The team is proud to partner with Seneca Resorts and Casinos for Native American Heritage Night when the Bandits welcome the Albany FireWolves to KeyBank Center. The night will support Native American groups in Western New York while honoring their history in the area and the sport of lacrosse.
