The holidays are past, snow comes and goes, the Bills season has ended and now we look forward to spring!! Plant and flower seeds are on sale, and we are getting ready for warmer days to come.

The Christian calendar now prepares for the Easter season. The first commemoration of Easter begins with Ash Wednesday. The Ash Wednesday service will take place on February 14 at 6pm. All are welcome to join us.

Spring is a time for renewal. It is a time for new growth. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, please consider visiting the Sparks of Hope Recovery Support Center. There you will find people who will sit and listen to you as well as provide you with refreshments. They have various programs including AA, AlAnon, NA, and other types of support groups and activities. There is no charge. Sparks is located at 107 Main Street, Hamburg, NY, 716-649-2010.

In 2024 why not join the Seneca Hymn Singers? They are on their winter break until March, but if you like to sing hymns in Seneca or want to learn, please join them. This is an interdenominational group that continues a great tradition. Rehearsals are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month beginning at 7pm in the 4 Corners fellowship hall. The evening promises great fellowship and fun! For more information contact Beeda (Janet) Parker at 716-532-2478.

Continue to pray for healing in our communities. Pray for those battling addictions. Pray for those who are mourning. Pray for those who are struggling with illness. But also, give thanks for all the blessings that we have in our lives.

On Sunday mornings you are invited to join us for worship service beginning at 9 a.m. After the service we have coffee time and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you and your family. Peace.
