SOS Sagas: Hunted 2023 Young Writers USA Writing Contest Winner!
Recently, Cecil VanEvery, Onöndowa’ga:’, Hodáë’ö:ga:’, won the SOS Sagas: Hunted 2023 Young Writers USA Writing Contest with his suspenseful short story submission, which was selected for publication from middle and high schools nationwide! His story, “I’ll See You Again,” will be featured in the publication, “Hunted-Where the Wild Things Are,” set for release on April 30th, 2024.
Cecil is the son of Jennifer Montour and Kurt VanEvery. He is also the grandson of Teresa & Leroy Montour and Alisa Myke & Greg VanEvery.
Cecil, a middle school student, also received a “Talent for Writing Certificate” during a recent recognition ceremony at his Charter School for Applied Technologies! In addition to being a talented writer, Cecil also maintains a High Honor Roll average of 99.3!
