Hi – My name is Dr. Joe Stahlman. I work for Seneca Nation as their THPO. This summer I am one of three instructors for an underwater archaeological field school in Lake Erie. We will teach archaeological methods, new technologies, visit submerged sites, and a chance to SCUBA. We will address questions revolving around climate change, submerged Indigenous sites, and maybe a shipwreck or two (at least visit).
I think it will be an exciting field school. I ask you all to share with your networks.
