Mount Union Freshman Obrigh Tallchief (Angola, N.Y. / Lake Shore) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week 2/26.
Tallchief tied two school records over the weekend with 15 points and seven assists while also scoring eight goals in a 23-7 win over Thiel (Pa.). Tallchief also had seven ground balls and three caused turnovers.
It is the first time in his young career winning the award.
Obrigh was additionally named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association D3 Team of the Week. He is the second Purple Raider to win the award.
