Geffen Sasala, Wolf Clan, was inducted into the Elmwood Franklin School’s National Junior Honor Society on February 22, 2024 in Buffalo, NY. Geffen is the daughter of Jessica Seneca and Andrew Sasala. Granddaughter of Gale Button and the late Clarence Seneca Sr., and Frances “Fran” Sasala (Huff) and the late Richard Sasala, Sr. Geffen is in the 7th grade at the Elmwood Franklin School (EFS). Academic success is a driving motivation for Geffen, she is a diligent student with a great supportive environment of teachers and friends at EFS. In 6th grade, Geffen was part of the regional winning team for the SIFMA Stock Market Game. Geffen has been active in the school theatre productions each year since the 1st grade. The most recent 7/8th grade play “Reboot” was her first non-musical performance. Since the 5th grade, Geffen has been an outstanding midfield athlete on both the EFS lacrosse and soccer teams. Additionally, she is on the Rochester-based travel lacrosse team 3D Common Goal. She participates in these extracurriculars while maintaining a consistent presence on the school’s high honor and honor rolls. Congratulations, Geffen!
