Prospect Elementary Terrific Kid for January
The Kiwanis Club of Salamanca recognized 3rd grader Rex McComber from Mrs. Pascarella’s class. Rex was staying at a hotel in Canada, and while there, Rex decided to go swimming. A family with a young boy came into the pool area. The boy ran and jumped into the deep end of the pool and started to go under the water. Rex saw this happening and sprang into action. He grabbed the boy and helped him to the wall towards the little one’s mom. This mother thanked Rex and told him that he was a hero for saving her son. Good thing Rex responded so responsibly and quickly and was capable of helping this young boy!
