The Cornell Rematriation Fashion Show 2024 kicked off March Women’s History Month celebrating Indigenous Women on March 2nd. The Rematriation team was happy to assist in spotlighting many incredibly talented local designers including She Holds the Sky Designs, Relative Arts, Karoniénhawe Diabo, Darice Sampson & one of Rematriation’s previous interns, Hareeta Printup.
Special shoutout to our founder, Michelle Schenandoah who MC’d the event and to our team members, Afton Lewis and Caryn Miller who modeled designs. River Webb, Aidan Solomon, Yanenowi Logan, and Leslie Logan were also some of the beautiful models.
March is Women’s History Month, recognizing the significant contributions of Indigenous women in history and society. Let’s celebrate our matriarchs everyday.
