From The Desk of The Treasurer

Nya:wëh sgënö,

I hope all is well and everyone enjoyed the solar eclipse. It was a once in a lifetime experience for sure!

The new Cattaraugus Health Center is on track for completion. Most internal work is currently moving according to schedule including electrical installation. Drywall and rooftop equipment is wrapping up as well. This facility will be able to accommodate an increase in registration as our membership grows and possibly services.

The transfer station located on Iroquois Dr. will be completed in May. It is anticipated to run similar to the large item drop-off, where members can dispose of items such as old furniture, beds, lawn items etc. No household garbage such as kitchen disposable food items, will be accepted at the station. There may also be a small fee associated with use, however more information will be posted by the Environmental Department.

The annual Community Fair had many participants throughout the week. It was great to see so many departments sponsor or create an activity for the community. The committee is always open to suggestions for future events. If you would like to share your thoughts feel free to contact the Education Department.

The fiscal department is preparing for the budget kick off in the next month or so. It is the busiest time of the year on top of normal operational activities.

As always, stay safe and stay strong.
