Aaliyah was recognized in Council session for her bravery and quick response Aaliyah, Onöndowa’ga:’, Ha’no:wa:h clan, Onöndagögwah community, is the daughter of Alexandrea Jimerson and James Logan White.
“Aaliyah is a fourth grade student from Silver Creek Elementary who helped save a student choking in the school cafeteria. To act so quickly in a emergency situation shows the characteristics of a true leader. The world needs more people like Aaliyah. Ja:goh and Nya;weh for your bravery and compassion toward a fellow student in need,” said President Rickey Armstrong.
Aaliyah received a standing ovation from the Executives, Councilors and audience!
