Lake Shore Transportation is getting a new bus garage over the summer. It currently is ordered and in production. This should protect the integrity of the buses by keeping them out of the elements as much as possible. On another note, bus driver positions are often available. For more details on becoming bus driver qualifications contact Wendy Williams, Transportation Coordinator.
The Council is pursuing land purchase around the current Seneca Sachems, Saylor complex. This would allow for an updated field expansion, walking trail and new concession/bathroom facilities. This is currently in the development phase and more information will be forthcoming as the project develops.
There is a significant infrastructure water main project slated to take place along Rt 438 which also includes a pump station on Brant Reservation Road. Both THPO and TERO Departments will monitor all aspects of the project. This project is anticipated to start at the end of summer. We have some busy months ahead of us.
As always, stay safe and stay strong,
