If you have never heard of Jonathan Maracle, you are missing out! We had the privilege of hearing him in concert a couple years ago and truly enjoyed it! His music is contemporary with some of his Tyendinaga Mohawk flavor mixed in. He, along with Bill Paragan (Alaskan Tlingit), have two performances: Friday, May 3rd at 7pm at the Ray Evans Seneca Theatre in Salamanca, and Saturday, May 4th at 6pm at the Steamburg Community Center in Steamburg. Admission is free!

If you are still interested in attending the Fellowship of Indian Churches annual retreat held at the beautiful Camp-of-the-Woods in Speculator, NY, register now by calling (585) 356-7106 now! The deadline is May 3rd.

We wish to send early Happy Mother’s Day greetings to all the mothers! We are very grateful for the women God has blessed us with who have raised us, took care of us when we were in need, worked hard to provide, and gave us good counsel sharing their wisdom. It is no easy task to be a good mother. There are, however, many of us who have lost our mothers and may not be able to enjoy Mother’s Day as we once did. Proverbs 31 is a beautiful description of a Godly woman. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30
