Traditional Cooking Day With Seneca language Immersion at Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center
The Seneca Language Immersion Program held a traditional cooking day at the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center. Many visitors stopped by to help with the fire, learn, and enjoy some food.
Some members of Immersion created clay vessels and harvested some of the plant foods. Nya:wëh To the Seneca Nation Forestry Department for providing the wood. The Onöhsagwë:de Cultural Center supplied venison, as well as corn flour and syrup from the Seneca Nation Gakwi:yo:h Farms
