Towards the end of April, we held our signing day for our athletes committed to play at the college level next year! Congratulations to Drake Connors, Emma Langdon, Jake Hopkins, Ava Tallchief, Jacella Nephew, Troy Kennedy, Alexander Maurer, Gavin Wiktor.
- Ja:göh Ava Tallchief, Onöndowa’ga, daughter of Emily and Benji Tallchief, a Lake Shore Eagles Senior, who has signed her commitment letter to Xavier College to play Lacrosse.
- Ja:göh Jacella Nephew, Onöndowa’ga:’, Gota:tö:nih, Tganegahgës, Cattaraugus Territory, has signed her commitment letter to Youngstown State University Lacrosse. Jacella is the daughter of Bethany & Justin “Dusty” Nephew, Granddaughter of Richard Nephew and the late Daniel & Christine LeBeau.
- Ja:göh Troy Kennedy, Onöndowa’ga, Gaji’da:s clan, who has committed to playing Football at the college level as a Tight End for the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles. Troy has received various awards through the years, the most recent awards he received was Most Improved Offensive Player for Lakeshore and was selected to the WNY First Team, Class B All Star team. He will be playing in the All Star game in July. Troy is the son of Kerry John Kennedy and Scott Kennedy from the Plank Road community on Cattaraugus Territory. Troy plans on studying Exercise Science.
