River Campus 5th graders acted on their learning about the Seneca people, who were caretakers of the land where our school is now, by planting an eastern white pine, a symbol of peace in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The tree will serve as a reminder to be peaceful conflict mediators, to reflect, and to learn from our mistakes. Nya:wëh to the River Campus 5th graders!
