Jöhehgöh” They Sustain Us

Indigenous Food Event at Ganondagan

Join us at Ganondagan for “Jöhehgöh” They Sustain Us – Indigenous Food Event with Braiding Sweetgrass author, Robin Kimmerer (Potawatomi), chef Loretta Barrett Oden (Potawatomi), and Haudenosaunee culture bearers for demonstrations, hands-on activities, speaking, and a delicious, Indigenous lunch.

This will be an engaging cultural experience as two internationally known Potawatomi women – Robin Wall Kimmerer (botanist, author, educator) and Loretta Barrett Oden (Indigenous award-winning chef, food historian, and cultural advocate) share their insights. Learn about Jöhehgöh (The Three Sisters: Corn, Beans, Squash) through demonstrations and hands on activities. Chef Loretta Barrett Oden will be creating a delicious, Indigenous inspired lunch featuring Ganondagan’s White Corn.

Pre-registration is required.
