“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!” Psalm 136:1. Praise the Lord for the 78 people who attended the Fellowship of Indian Churches annual retreat in the foothills of the Adirondacks at the end of May! It is always so good to reunite with other Native believers from across the state and beyond! Our guest speaker, Dr. Del Tackett, was full of knowledge yet so humble as he did an incredible job on the topic of creation. God met the needs of so many people in the area of rest, recovery, and drawing us closer to Him.
Photos below:
• Craft time is always a favorite at the retreat!
• Fellowship in the dining area is private and allows the guests to really get acquainted.
• Pastors and elders took time to pray over the graduating seniors at the retreat.
If you don’t have a place of worship, you are invited to join us every Sunday morning starting with Bible classes for adults and teens at 10am complete with coffee and snacks, followed by the worship service at 11am. Junior Church for ages 4-9 is available each Sunday as well. Bring the whole family!
Can’t make it for Sunday service in person? Catch us live on Facebook each Sunday morning starting with Sunday School at 10am and the church service at 11am under Glenn Bloom’s profile.
