Freedom is a wonderful thing to celebrate! This time of year finds us commemorating with picnics, gatherings, and fireworks. Let us not forget the freedom we can have through our relationship with Jesus Christ which lasts forever! Romans 8:2 – “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” This simple gift of freedom is as easy as 1-2-3! 1) admitting we are guilty of sin, 2) believing Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later, and 3) confessing our sin and turning away from it.
Once we have followed these steps, we can now celebrate freedom through Christ who has set us free from our bondage of sin! Our personal relationship with Him begins and we know someday we will be with Him in Heaven!
If you don’t have a place of worship, you are invited to join us every Sunday morning starting with Bible classes for adults and teens at 10am complete with coffee and snacks, followed by the worship service at 11am. Junior Church for ages 4-9 is available each Sunday as well. Bring the whole family!
