Here’s a great photo (pictured below – to the right) that we found while cleaning out the freight house last weekend. B&O engineer, Watson Pierce, is shown on the right. The man on the left is not identified. Pierce (1898-1982), a member of the Snipe Clan, Seneca Nation of Indians, worked first as a fireman (as early as 1940) and then as an engineer (as early as 1950) out of East Salamanca. Does anyone recognize the other man?
