We are grateful for all who participated in this year’s Daily Vacation Bible School program! Sharon Patterson, along with a group of faithful leaders, led the ‘Keepers of the Kingdom”-themed fun-filled week. Children ages 5-13 enjoyed the Biblical instruction, fun activities, music, and crafts. A big thank you to Seneca One Stop, Huron’s Landing, Seneca Hawk, and Iroquois Smoke Shop for their generous donations. All other donors were also an incredible blessing to help defray the costs. The Saylor Building was the perfect setting for the students to come and learn about truth and love through the teaching of God’s Word. There were between 19-23 kids throughout the week. Some children did not want the week to end and one even said, “I wish this went on all the time.” Plans and ideas are in the works for next summer already!
The week ended with an invitation for the children’s families to attend the Needham Family gospel singers’ concert and BBQ at PVBC. It was a beautiful day and some of the families attended and enjoyed not only the music and food but had the privilege of watching their children sing a couple songs they learned at DVBS.
You are always welcome to join us each Sunday morning for fascinating Bible classes for adults and teens at 10am complete with coffee and snacks, followed by the worship service at 11am. Junior Church for ages 4-9 is available each Sunday as well. Bring the whole family!
