“I hope I’ll make it to Heaven when I die” can oftentimes be the thought for many of us. To think something like this is like standing at the door of an airplane 30,000 feet in the air and hoping our parachute will open. When it comes to our eternal destiny, we don’t want to hope so, we want to KNOW so. The Bible tells us we CAN know simply by repenting (turning away from our sinful ways) and placing our faith in Jesus Christ. He is the One Who gives the free gift of eternal life!
“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” I John 5:12-13
