Ja:göh to Author Darelyn Spruce and Illustrator by Bradley Jimerson
Last month, the Cattaraugus Family Support Services held a Family Dinner and Mini Social with a Book Giveaway at the Cattaraugus Community Center. The book “I’m a Little Smoke Dancer” written by Darelyn Spruce and Illustrated by Bradley Jimerson, both Seneca from the Cattaraugus Territory, was read to the children before the Mini Social. Families who attended had the opportunity to get an Every Child Matters t-shirt, enjoy dinner, and were entered to win an autographed book and other door prizes throughout the evening! Nya:wëh to all who attended and organized this event for our families.
