Native American Speaker Series Planned for November

at Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek

Anderson-Lee Library, located at 43 Main Street in Silver Creek announces the schedule for their annual speaker series in honor of Native American Heritage Month. All programs are free and open to the public. Registration will begin later in October. All programs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings start at 6pm and Saturday programs begin at noon and are for children. For more information, please stop by or call the library at 716-934-3468.

  • Thursday, November 7, 6pm: Caleb G. Abrams, “Presentation of Film Works by Caleb Abrams”
  • *Saturday, November 9, 12pm: Darelyn Spruce, Book reading of her newly published book “I’m a Little Smoke Dancer”, followed by an activity.
  • Tuesday, November 12, 6pm: Dr. Lori Quigley, “Thomas Indian School: My Mother’s Story”
  • *Saturday, November 16 at 12pm: Bernadette Scott and Marcie Kane, “Corn Husk Dolls”. For children ages five and older
  • Tuesday, November 19, 6pm: Flip White, “A Way of Thinking Peace”.
  • Thursday, November 21, 6pm: Richie Sasala, program TBD
  • *Saturday, November 23, 12pm: Ari Logan, “Speaking and Singing Seneca with Ari Logan”
