On Thursday, October 24th the Cattaraugus Territory Health Center celebrated its completion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Community members were able to tour the new facility and see its new features including a drive-thru pharmacy, dedicated drive-thru testing, office space for partnering services, space for physical therapy, and an expanded exam and provider space for Medical, Optical, and Dental Services.
A few years ago in 2021, Council and Executives set a vision and a plan to invest federal funds secured through the American Rescue Plan Act. The vision was to continue to build healthier and stronger Seneca communities for the future, eliminating barriers to care, and the need to bring quality services and work to our people. Construction of the facility began in the summer of 2023. After years of planning and construction, it is officially ready to serve the community.
The new Cattaraugus Health Center, nearly doubles the size of our existing clinic. The Seneca Nation Health System will be able to provide better comprehensive services for all Senecas – from our Elders to our youngest generations. With the hope this new health center becomes a vital community resource so that the investments made today open the doorway not only to the improvement of services our people need and deserve, but ultimately to a healthier Seneca Nation for generations to come.

Please arrive early at your appointments while the facility works through their new patient flow and get familiar with the floorplan.
