Seneca Holdings continues to make progress in building a portfolio of businesses that will deliver long-term, sustained income to the Seneca Nation. In 2024, the company continued to grow while also achieving several important milestones.
One milestone is that Seneca Holdings has now distributed back to the Seneca Nation more money than the total amount that the Nation has invested in Holdings. While the mission of Holdings is to grow large enough to provide more significant and sustained income in the future, this milestone is worth celebrating as the product of the hard work and dedication of many who helped establish the company, build its foundation, and fuel its growth.
“The continued, sustained success of Seneca Holdings has been outstanding,” said Jordan Garrow, Seneca Holdings Management Committee Chair. “To reach this milestone, where the company has now returned more to the Seneca Nation than the original investment, is a testament to the efforts of many and adds to the faith we have in the business and its leadership. I believe Seneca Holdings will continue to grow and become an organization that supports the Seneca Nation for generations to come.”
Core Business Updates
The company’s primary business continues to be federal government contracting, which is referred to as the Seneca Nation Group (or “SNG”). The federal business continued its growth in 2024 and now has staff in 42 U.S. states and six countries worldwide. SNG has expanded significantly by providing a wide range of services and products to the federal government. Services include financial management, healthcare administration, technology solutions and cybersecurity. In 2024, SNG provided a wide range of products to the federal government (from drones to medical supplies) and coordinated deliveries to 62 different countries around the world. The team is gearing up for another year of growth and is also making sure that the company is well positioned for the new administration. You can learn more about SNG on its website: www.senecanationgroup.com.
Holdings established Seneca Environmental (or “SEV”) to invest in and develop renewable energy projects. In 2025, SEV is focusing on three key areas: acquiring and owning projects that generate long-term, stable returns; providing consulting and development services to Tribes and corporations; and selling renewable energy certificates (or “RECs”). RECs are contractual instruments used to track renewable energy production and consumption; by selling RECs to corporations and governments, SEV is helping those entities meet their clean energy goals while building SEV’s capacity to participate in power markets. Recently, SEV announced two significant REC sales: one with the U.S. General Services Administration, and one with Pinterest, a global visual and discovery platform. Diversification
Seneca Holdings continues to actively evaluate potential businesses that could profitably contribute to the portfolio. At the end of 2024, Seneca Holdings completed its acquisition of CI Azumano Travel, a full-service travel management company that provides travel services to businesses, governments, and leisure clients. CI Azumano Travel has the team and technology in place to support travel programs of large organizations and specializes in having teams of travel agents trained to meet the specific travel needs of these organizations. This acquisition is a significant milestone for Seneca Holdings because it is a new business line that provides diversification to the portfolio. Native American Summer Internship Program
Last summer eight students participated in Seneca Holdings’ Native American Internship Program. Each intern was assigned to a Seneca Holdings department that aligned with their career interests. The group participated in departmental and corporate-wide events, including Seneca Holdings’ participation in the Marvin “Joe” Curry Powwow. In addition, the interns traveled to Washington, D.C., to visit the SNG office and tour the city. The program was a great success for both the interns and Seneca Holdings, with intern Keelan Seneca summing up his experience, “from day one, I couldn’t wait to return!”
Seneca Holdings has kicked off its 2025 internship application process and is currently seeking applicants. The program is geared towards current university students. Interns will get hands-on experience in functions that align to their career interest, have a designated mentor, receive professional skills training, and get exposure to every area of the company. You can request more information by emailing Rosanna Lepsch at rjackson@senecaholdings.com or apply by clicking here.

Holdings Team Visits to Territory
Throughout the year, many Seneca Holdings team members are able to visit territory and learn more about the Nation, its history, and culture. Several retreats are held on territory that include team members staying at the Niagara or Allegany resorts, touring locations like the Sully Heritage Center, Gakwi:yo:h Farms, the Early Childhood Learning Center, the Faithkeepers School, and the Seneca Iroquois National Museum. Attending the Powwow over the summer is also a highlight. Thank you to all those who have welcomed the Holdings team throughout the year.
