2025!!! What will this year hold for us? It’s a new beginning for many things, but it’s also a time to reflect on the years gone by. The history of the Four Corners church begins in 1888 and continues to this day despite several changes in leadership. Mr. John Waterman furnished the logs for the plank building. The land was donated by the Parker family to be used if the church used it as a worship place. Pastoral leadership varied over the years, but the church was blessed to have two Seneca pastors, Marvin Abrams and Kenneth “Rev” Snyder. Marvin served for 6 years and Ken served for 25 when he passed in 2010. The church has overcome many obstacles but remains strong today due to the dedication and faith of it’s members.
Even though the Seneca Hymn Singers are not having rehearsals again until March, they are still available to sing for a gathering whether it be for church service or a special occasion. Contact Janet “Beeda” Parker (716-725-8112) and she can assist you.
Pray for those who are mourning or who are ill. Pray for those who are struggling with addiction, domestic violence or child abuse. Pray for peace and unity for us all.
Our regular Sunday service is at 9 a.m. followed by a coffee hour. Please join us with the word and song that will guide you through the week. We invite you and your family to join us. Peace to you.
