For the Month of February, the Employee of the Month for Cattaraugus is Brooke Ann Twoguns. Brooke is the Administrative Assistant at the Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC).
She started working at the ECLC in October of 2022 after moving back to the territory. After a year of being there she felt she was ready to advance. She applied to move up in her field and became an Administrative Assistant. She enjoys working with the community here at the Seneca Nation and feels everyone is so welcoming. Brooke understands how much the teachers, along with teachers’ assistants, do for future generations and has a goal of assisting them in creating a more efficient and organized atmosphere. She does admit that at times she wishes people knew how overwhelming it can get when there are a lot of things happening at once, but she focuses on the task at hand while making the impossible happen.
Along with her work goals Brooke has a lot of personal goals as well. When asked “Name one thing on your bucket list” she let us know that she does want to go on a cruise but is intimidated by hurricanes. She has tabled the bucket list goal for now but hopes to cross it off her list. She is extremely proud of herself for achieving a major goal she had. That goal being to move back to Cattaraugus. Brooke was born in Gowanda, New York but spent most of her life in Arizona. She made her goals reality in August of 2021 when she bought a home and was able to move back home to the Cattaraugus Territory.
Allegany
Ja:göh William John III selected as the February, 2025 Employee of the Month for Allegany Territory. “Bill” is the Highbanks Campground Groundskeeper. He started in 2016 and has with Highbanks since.
Bill’s Director, Judy Farmer has some kind words to say about working alongside him. “William “Bill” is an outstanding employee, with much commitment to his job at Highbanks.
He is a true leader sets great examples with excellent attendance and a positive attitude. His hard work does not go unnoticed. I am proud to have him on my team and part of the success at Highbanks.
