Employee of the Month for June 2025 in Cattaraugus is Kenneth “Kenny” Lay Jr. Kenny has been with the Seneca Nation for four years and is a telecom technician in the Seneca Energy Department. One thing he enjoys most about working there is giving back to the community and utilizing his skills he has learned along the way.
These align with his goals for his career goals, which are staying on top of the network and getting Wi-Fi to more homes on territory. One thing that he wishes more people knew about his job was the process it took to get high speed Wi-Fi brought to the territory. He expressed when asked “What is something you’re proud of about yourself” that he is proud to have the family he does and to work for the Seneca Nation.
