The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Indigenous Fellowship Programme — a unique opportunity for Indigenous persons to gain hands-on training in international human rights mechanisms and strengthen their advocacy for their communities.
Training Period: June/July 2026 (4 weeks in Geneva)
Languages Offered: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese
Support Provided: Return airfare, living expenses, and basic health insurance
Who can apply?
• Must be Indigenous
• Supported by an Indigenous organization or community
• Committed to sharing knowledge upon return
• Inclusive of women, LGBTQI+ individuals, and persons with disabilities
• No formal education required
