Indigenous Spirit Dance Group Undergoes Name Change

They are now called Gaëni:yo’s, Singers & Dancers

The Indigenous Spirit Dance Group will be undergoing a name change and the new name will be called, Gaëni:yo’s, Singers & Dancers. Gaëni:yo’s, pronounced “Guy – Knee – Yos “ which refers to “Good Songs”. I felt this is more appropriate. Haudenosaunee Songs & Dances are considered “Good medicine” & helps lifts the spirits & brings that spiritual & positive energy & vibes. Graphics credit: Brad Jimerson.
