The Seneca Nation and President J. Conrad Seneca have formally presented to the public and unveiled the official Presidential portrait of the 67th President of the Seneca Nation, Robert Odawi Porter. The newly commissioned portrait was hand drawn by local artist Tom O’Connor and was unveiled during the regular session of Council held on Saturday, September 20th.
Elected in 2010, Porter is a member of the Heron Clan and comes from the Ohi:yo’ Territory. The son of Lana Redeye, and grandson of Leonard Redeye, Sr. and Eleanor Bowen Redeye, he has served in many roles including Chief Legal Counsel, and Attorney General. Rob is married to Seneca Nation Councilor Odie Brant Porter and the two share four children Ben, Elliott, Olivia and Rachel.
