Ja:göh Grant Stevens & Jessica Newark!
Congratulations to Grant Stevens, Operations Manager, Cattaraugus Community Center and Jessica Newark, Fiscal Compliance Officer who were named the September 2025 Employees of the Month during a special breakfast held in their honor. Each month, The Seneca Nation gathers to recognize a standout employee who demonstrates exemplary qualities in carrying out their daily assigned tasks. Grant and Jessica were chosen for their many years of dedicated service in challenging roles. Awardees enjoy a bonus day off, premiere parking, and a gift card of their choice. We’re all very proud of you!
Grantland Stevens – Grantland is the EOM recipient for Cattaraugus. He has worked for the Seneca Nation for a total of 13 years. He enjoys most working with the community along with meeting new faces daily. He strives for goals in the workplace such as being supportive of his coworkers and ensuring patrons have the best experience while utilizing the CCC. When it comes to his job, he is there to help in any way possible, wearing many hats at his job and chipping in where help is needed. That sometimes can include cleaning or running a program or even running the Zamboni. Grantland wanted to give a shoutout to his awesome crew over at the CCC. He said although the plaque may have his name on it, ultimately it is a team effort, and it takes a great team to operate that place. He is very proud of his crew and job. Ja:göh to Grantland on his hard work and dedication to the CCC and community. The space is utilized by so many and of all ages, which is only possible with him along with the rest of the CCC crew. Keep up the hard work, it does not go unnoticed and is appreciated.

Jessica Newark – Jessica is the Fiscal Compliance Officer and has been a Nation employee for 15 years. Something she enjoys most about her job is that she loves all the people she works alongside and thinks of them as her second family. One thing she wishes someone knew about her job is the importance of submitting paperwork in on time, and the effect it can have when it’s not! Jessica is proud that when it comes to most things in life she is very independent. One thing on her bucket list is to visit the Grand Canyon and her goal in the future is to buy a vacation home for her family to spend more time together.
Ja:göh, Jess! Thank you for all your hard work that is so important and needed!
