We’re honored to participate in the launch of the Indigenous Peoples and Just Energy Transition Report, a collaboration among the Alliance for a Just Energy Transformation, the World Wildlife Fund, and the FSC Indigenous Foundation.
The report examines the relationship between Indigenous Peoples and local energy transition. It highlights the challenges faced, and opportunities that emerge, as countries accelerate their decarbonization efforts.
The report was launched at a webinar on Wednesday, December 10th. Speakers talked about Indigenous rights in the context of energy transitions, challenges and successes for Tribal energy sovereignty, COP30 outcomes, and more. The speakers included:
