January’s Sully Spotlight is Mary Jacobs. Mary is a staple here at the Sully. She besides being a master Beadwork Artist, Mary is a member of the Native Roots Artists Guild, Turtle Island Women NE Chapter of NAIWA, a founder and co-host of the Catt Rez Beaders and a Sully Mentor. We are proud to have Mary as a mentor artist here at the Sully. She is always down to help share what she knows with any who are willing to learn.
Next in our Sully Spotlight is Syd John. Syd is an example of someone taking an interest in our cultural arts classes here. He is a member of the Catt Rez Beaders, frequently works in the carving and pottery studio and has even started teaching his own carving classes. His creativity shines through all that he does.
Next in the Sully Spotlight is Karen Veeraswamy. Karen has been a staple participant in the classes offered here at the Sully. She has made several projects with Cliff Redeye. Good job Karen!
