Students from our Civics Engagement Program are in Washington, DC this week advocating for Federal Impact Aid and making their voices heard on behalf of our community.
While attending the National Association of Federally Impacted Schools (NAFIS) Conference, they also had the opportunity to connect with Indigenous activists from across the country, building relationships and sharing ideas about advocacy, education, and leadership.
We’re proud to see our students representing our community and engaging directly in the civic process.
