Honor our Children – Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Walk

Issue

In recognition of Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month, children and their families joined the Allegany Territory Seneca Arts & Learning Center and the Cattaraugus Territory Seneca Nation Early Childhood Learning Center and the Seneca Nation Head Start Program for their annual commemorative walks & socials on Friday, April 17.

These walks help strengthen community bonds and create connections to prevent abuse before it starts. Nya:wëh to the Seneca Nation Marshals, SALC & ECLC staff, Seneca Nation Crime Victim Services, Family Support Services, the Human Services Division, and all those who make this important event possible!
