Councillor Tina Abrams Honored at May Council

At the May 9th Regular Session of Council, Councillor Tina Abrams was formally honored for her recognition as the 57th District’s 2026 New York State Senate Woman of Distinction. Family, friends, and community celebrated this outstanding achievement, as Councilor Abrams is the first Indigenous woman to receive the honor. NYS Senator George Borello was present and spoke of Councilor Abrams’ character and accomplishments, and a blanket was gifted by President Seneca on behalf of Seneca Nation Leadership.
