Mennix Miller, a 3rd grade student in Mrs. Bolen and Ms. Johnson’s class, stepped up to the front of the room this past Wednesday to lead his peers in a lesson all about frogs. After reviewing the learning target for the day, Mennix facilitated a group discussion to see what his classmates already knew about these amphibians before recording their ideas directly onto the SmartBoard.
Watching our students take ownership of the classroom is exactly what we love to see at Gowanda Elementary. Mennix did an incredible job keeping his peers engaged and managing classroom\technology like a pro. Great work, Mennix!
