Lake Shore High School Junior Tyla Thompson recently stepped into the shoes of a lead prosecuting attorney at the University at Buffalo School of Law for the 2026 Youth Law Day program. Partnering with the New York State Bar Association, the event gives student leaders a firsthand look at the legal profession through realistic mock trials and interactive law classes. Tyla stood out for her exceptional public speaking skills, leadership, and confidence while directing her team in the courtroom.
We are incredibly proud of Tyla for representing Lake Shore Senior High School so well on a collegiate stage and exploring the meaningful impact legal professionals make within our communities.
