The Rez Pets Program kicked off the summer with a free Dog Food Giveaway on June 1st & 2nd, on the Allegany & Cattaraugus territories. Pet owners were given large bags of nutritious dog food for their fur babies. A total of 473 bags of dog food were given out in Cattaraugus and 480 bags in Allegany! Dog food giveaway will be available at the Buffalo Creek Office starting June 12th. Nya:wëh to the Community Planning & Development Department, Native American Humane Society, and PetSmart Charities for organizing this event for our beloved pets.
