SCCSD Indigenous Agriculture Initiative Gets Recognized by NYSSBA

We are honored to share that the Indigenous Agriculture Initiative has been recognized by the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) through its Culture of Caring program!

This recognition celebrates the positive impact the initiative has made in strengthening school and community culture through leadership, collaboration, and meaningful learning experiences.

The award was presented by Sylvester Cleary, NYSSBA Area 3 Director, in recognition of the dedication and efforts that made this initiative possible.

We extend our gratitude to our Board of Education, staff, students, and community partners whose commitment continues to create opportunities that inspire and connect our school community.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this outstanding achievement and thank you for helping build a culture others can admire and emulate!
