37th Annual NAFDPIR Conference

The Seneca Nation USDA program were proud to join their Midwest partners who hosted the 37th Annual NAFDPIR Conference from June 22–25 in Niagara Falls! NAFDPIR (National Association of Food Distribution Programs on Indian Reservations) is an Indigenous-led nonprofit dedicated to strengthening food security and supporting Tribal communities across the country. This year’s conference, Flowing Forward Together, brought together Tribal Leaders to share their successes, challenges, and innovative ideas for the FDPIR program. Conference highlights included a Seneca cultural presentation and reception, plus a special tour of the Cattaraugus Territory Tribal Advocate Building. Nya:wëh to our dedicated staff, Iroquois Legion Post 1587, talented singers and dancers, and our Executives for making this event a success.
