The Cattaraugus Department hosted students from the Cattaraugus Education Department’s SEARCH summer program (K-8) for a visit to the fish hatchery, where they enjoyed an engaging learning experience with Officer Jadon Jimerson.
Students observed brook trout habitats, learned about their diet, and discovered the stages of trout development from egg to adult. The tour also included a look at our turtle ponds, making it a well-rounded, fun educational outing.
