Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival on Onondaga Land at Tsha’ Thon’nhes (Where They Play Ball)
We are excited to be together with you for our 4th Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival on sovereign Onondaga Nation land, Saturday, October 10th, 10 am – 5 pm, at Tsha’ Thon’nhes (The Onondaga Nation Lacrosse Fieldhouse at 3370 State Route 11A, Nedrow). Our celebration is free, open to the public, and fun for everyone.
Bring your family for children’s activities and use our relaxation/nursery room for a quiet space all day long. Make sure to enjoy the Haudenosaunee singing and dancing and take time to learn from our featured artists and speakers.
Come hungry-10 food vendors this year! We encourage you to support our community organizations and fine artists and craftspeople. An ATM is available at Firekeepers Diner on Route 11.
This event is ADA accessible for mobility devices; certified service animals are welcome (no support animals or pets). Carpooling is STRONGLY encouraged to limit congestion, pollution, and make parking your vehicle easier. Handicapped parking will be available outside the front entrance of the fieldhouse.
KN95 masks for adults and children will be available at the greeters table. Seating will be available indoors near the food vendors and on the bleachers as well as outdoors under our large event tent.
Organized by Onondaga Nation community members, Tsha’Thon’nhes staff, Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation/Syracuse Peace Council, and We of Italian and Syracuse Heritage CNY.
