Focused on Learning, Connection, and Seneca Culture

What does it mean to truly learn from culture? You listen, you participate, and you connect.
As a subsidiary of Seneca Holdings, CI Azumano / Business Travel recently participated in an immersion day focused on learning, connection, and Seneca culture.
The team learned from Seneca Nation members Veronica Reitter and Steph Stafford explored the teachings behind cornhusk dolls, and spent time with the Little Miss Senecas — a Seneca-run community program where mothers, aunties, and grandmothers help young Seneca girls connect with their culture, traditions, and community while growing into confident young Indigenous women.
The girls introduced themselves in the Seneca language, shared the Indigenous women who inspire them and their hopes for the future, and taught the group Esgä:nye:’ (Women’s Shuffle), a dance expressing gratitude and giving thanks for Mother Earth and Creation.
The day ended with CI Azumano presenting the Little Miss Senecas with a $1,000 donation to support the program and the opportunities it provides.
