Repost from SALC
Through the Seneca Leadership Summer Program, Mikaela spent her summer with us as a Teacher Assistant in our Pre-K classroom while home from Syracuse University, where she is studying Early Childhood Education.
From the very beginning, Mikaela fit right in! She quickly became a familiar and loved face in our Pre-K classroom. The children bonded with her so naturally, and she became such a wonderful part of our classroom, staff, and SALC family!
Mikaela has such a natural way with young children. She jumped right in, built authentic relationships with the children, supported the classroom, and brought so much patience, warmth, and positive energy every day. You can truly see how much she enjoys working with children and how natural Early Childhood comes to her.
Nya:wëh, Mikaela, for spending your summer with us and good luck as you head back to college! We’re going to surely miss you! And nya:wëh Allegany Higher Education for the opportunity.
